Okay, not sure I'm going to have time for this, but I love the idea of being able to brag on my fabulous family and share our lives with you...

It's Carey's fault! She has me hooked. I never get to see Emerson, so I love reading about her on their blog.

Basketball season has started. Yahoo! Will is playing great, and the FHS Jr. High teams are awesome. Hannah & Ashley had their first basketball game last night, too. Just a scrimmage, but still, gotta love those referees. I know that is a hard job, but come on! The calling last year was not so hot--I even called someone a name. Bad, bad christian girl! I'm working on it though, and when it gets too bad, I focus how cute my girls look in their uniforms...

Chris Jackson was one of the referees calling the game for us, and did a fine job. I remember watching Chris & Brad play ball on the same court, so how cool that he would be the one calling a game my girlies were playing in! Mrs. Mabel, Chris's grandmother, used to sit beside me at the games when I was pregnant with Hannah & guard my tummy with her body! It was too cute. I miss that sweetheart...

I can't write enough about how blessed our family is. Hannah had a bump in her road to adulthood which she has handled quite well. I'm so proud of her. Her faith is amazing. I'm really proud that she is making decisions that are best for her without worrying so much what her mom or anyone else thinks...

God has provided an amazing healing for Ashley. She is doing so well. You don't realize how special it is to see your child run, laugh, write a paper for school, or just eat until they can't or don't do it for a while. She is back though! The little nut... and whatever you do, DON'T let her tell you a joke. She is the only one who laughs at her jokes...unless you count her little blonde friend Lauren. They laugh at each other. And, of course, we laugh at them laughing, so in the end, I guess she is quite the little comedian after all. Ashley's only problem in life lately is that her parents won't buy her a car right now. Poor baby!

Will is doing great lately. He is a great basketball player, a smart school kid, and is looking forward to starting baseball practice soon. He has muscles, too! How is it that my baby is growing up so fast? Will is an amazing kid. I love to hear him pray, especially when he's been asked to take up the offering and offer a prayer over it. What a great man he is growing up to be!
